Coverage Needed

The University of Florida is where the majority of my photo sessions are every year, so you would only photograph UF grads throughout the Fall and Spring semesters!

After training, you will work as an associate starting in the Fall and end in May, with the option to continue the next school year if things go well!

You have a passion for photography, but the business side of photography is not something you have experience in or are interested in right now. This is also an amazing opportunity for someone who wants to learn more about grad photography, since I'll train you in my brand style!

This role is great for someone who is looking for a photography side-hustle or a photographer who just wants to take the photos and not worry about edits, marketing, or the initial client interactions.

• Have some experience as a photographer, but more importantly, be open to learning
• Be willing to learn posing workflows and be able to direct graduates with confidence, which we all learn through experience!
• Have professional camera gear
• Have access to transportation for business travel

Your Role

Taking lots of fun photos! You'll photograph UF grads who have booked you through Caitlyn Cacioppo Photography. I'll help you set up a calendar that grads can book you through :)

Besides taking pics, you will also have some communication with clients prior to their sessions to make sure everyone has all the details and is on the same page.

Before you officially take on your own grad sessions, you will photograph some graduates alongside me as a second photographer. I'll also train you in my client workflow, which you'll be expected to follow for all your shoots.

Other Important Info

You can totally have this position while working a full-time job or another part-time job! You will not have to do any in-studio or office work, but you will need to be available during early mornings and evenings (for sunrise/sunset sessions), and on some weekends. There also may be some big team events and regular team meetings.

We'll work together on what your availability will look like! Sometimes, you’ll need to commit to being open for grad sessions up to 6 months in advance.

Another thing to note: the interview and training process isn't super quick, but it's going to make sure you'll be confident to take the lead on your own sessions! As you go through the process, I'll make sure to be upfront about the timeline and everything you need to do at every step.

College grad photography isn't necessarily for everyone, and that's okay. As long as you have a love for grad photography, are flexible with your schedule, and you're ready to work hard, this will be a lot of fun!

I will be responsible for the booking process, administrative work, post-processing, and gallery delivery to clients.
